December Oak is a web design studio creating immersive, signature sites. Stefani has come to me for brand imagery for years, and we always find ourselves chatting about the poetry of the name. An oak in winter is unwavering, sturdy, full of life waiting to bloom. We infused this natural, strong presence into her new brand photos.

This hybrid session  — a special offering for returning clients — is an ode to the power of place. Brilliantly, Stefani gravitated toward ALEO, a unique bed & breakfast in Detroit's Little Village. Its clean interior design, historic details, & grounding mahogany welcome guests in a way not unlike December Oak itself.
